Kevin G. Hall is chief economics correspondent for McClatchy Newspapers, a post he’s held since 2005. He returned to Washington after a long stint as the Brazil-based South America bureau chief for Knight Ridder Newspapers. During much of the 1990s, Hall worked in Mexico for the Journal of Commerce, covering the run-up to and implementation of NAFTA. He is the immediate past president of SABEW (2013-2014).
